Attorney Haim Bleicher of Mehonu filed a civil lawsuit for 75,000 shekels in the Ramla Magistrate's Court against an Arab who 6 years ago attacked a Jew with severe violence in Lod - after asking him to move his car.
The Arab beat the Jew with all parts of his body in front of the Jew's three children who were there.
After the attack, the Arab was arrested and sentenced to serve 300 hours of community service and pay compensation to the victim of the crime. The victim of the crime is now filing a civil lawsuit against him through his lawyer.

The indictment filed against the Arab describes the serious assault: "On 08.12.19, the plaintiff arrived at the scene with his vehicle in order to pick up his daughter from kindergarten. Under the circumstances described, the defendant's wife parked her vehicle at the scene and blocked the plaintiff's vehicle. As a result, the plaintiff asked her to move her vehicle, but she refused.
The plaintiff then took a picture of the defendant's wife and her husband on his cell phone. In response, the woman tried to take the phone from the plaintiff's hands and attacked him by punching him in the face.
""Following the described circumstances, the defendant and another person whose identity is unknown arrived at the scene and attacked the plaintiff by grabbing him by his shirt, pulling him and punching him several times in the face. The plaintiff fell to the ground, and while the plaintiff was lying on the floor of the scene, the defendant and the other person kicked him hard with several kicks and in various places on his body. In his described actions, the defendant, together with the other person, attacked the plaintiff unlawfully and without his consent, causing him significant injuries.".
Attorney Bleicher: "The lawsuit is being filed for an extremely serious incident of violence against a Jew whose only sin was that he tried to move the vehicle. Unfortunately, the attack did not receive a proper criminal response at all. Instead of putting the perpetrator in prison and keeping him away from human society for several years, the perpetrator received a lenient and completely non-deterrent sentence. Islamic violence against Jews must receive a response. We hope that through the lawsuit, a minimal price will be collected from that perpetrator, which will lead to the restoration of deterrence against the constant disturbances against Jews.".
