Samaria Council Head Yossi Dagan met in Washington with Paula White - senior advisor to US President Donald Trump, who heads the 'Office of Faith' at the White House.
White is considered one of the closest figures to the President of the United States, and, among other things, coordinates the relationship with evangelical leaders and the public on behalf of the President.
Evidence of her great importance was made public during Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's visit to Washington last month, during which, despite the tight schedule of such a visit, Netanyahu and his wife met with her at the White House for a full 4 hours.
At the end of the meeting, Dagan presented her with a mezuzah handmade from stones from Mount Ebal, next to the altar of Joshua ben Nun, by the artist Assaf Kidron from the Itamar settlement.
White thanked Dan and said she would hang the mezuzah from Mount Ebal in the White House: "I feel very honored to receive this wonderful gift, I will make sure to put it in the office. It's great to be here. Many blessings and prayers for Samaria, I have been there many, many times. I pray for peace for Israel, Jerusalem and Judea and Samaria.".
Dagan replied: "I want to thank you. You have received and are carrying out such an important mission from the Holy One, blessed be He - a historic mission. We pray for your success, which is the success of the Jews who live in Jerusalem and Judea and Samaria - the land of the Bible, which is the success of the State of Israel and the success of the United States.""
At the end of the meeting, Yossi Dagan blessed Paula White with a priestly blessing,
Afterwards, he told her: "May the Holy One, blessed be He, give you strength, power, and success to restore the good cooperation between the United States and the State of Israel - to be strong again!""
White and Dagan's meeting took place as part of a marathon of meetings that the head of the Samaria Council is currently holding in Washington with senior Trump administration officials, senators, and members of Congress, in order to strengthen support for settlement and bring support and reinforcement for the application of sovereignty in Judea and Samaria, as well as to strengthen the lobbying work for Judea and Samaria in Congress, which Dagan established together with Congresswoman Claudia Tenney.
The lobby already has over 20 members of Congress, and it is working to enact a law that prohibits the use of the term "West Bank" in official documents in the United States and requires the use of the term "Judea and Samaria.".
As part of the marathon of meetings, Yossi Dagan was scheduled for a long meeting with Masad Bolos, his father-in-law and Donald Trump's special advisor on Middle East affairs.
At the meeting, Bolos told Degan: "It is a great pleasure and honor to meet you, and to convey through you my appreciation from my heart to the people of Samaria. To my brothers and sisters in Israel and Lebanon, we expect peace and long for peace, and with God's help, we hope it will be soon.".
