The grenade was thrown at the building in the city where the media person, a journalist for a Hasidic magazine, lives, three weeks ago.
The investigation was assigned to the central unit of the Tel Aviv District, which managed to collect evidence against several people involved - residents of Ashkelon and Bat Yam, in their 20s - and made the arrests in the morning hours.
The investigation was opened after the police received a report on the morning of February 17, 2025, about a grenade being thrown at a residential building. As a result, damage was caused to the building and a vehicle.
There were no casualties.
Police from the Bnei Brak police station and forensic experts arrived at the scene and collected findings and evidence from the scene. The investigation was later transferred to the central unit of the Tel Aviv District Police.
During the investigation, while carrying out many and varied operations, the Marine Corps officers were able to identify those involved in throwing the grenade.
The suspects were transferred for questioning to the Tel Aviv Police Department.
Tomorrow, the suspects will be brought to the Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court for a hearing on extending their detention.
