In his proposal, Minister Levin wrote: "The government decides to express no confidence in the Legal Advisor to the Government in light of her inappropriate conduct, and in light of the existence of substantial and prolonged differences of opinion between the government and her that create a situation that prevents effective cooperation.".

Levin accuses the attorney general of "while exalting the values of democracy at her throat, in reality she has crushed to the ground the very principles in whose name she purported to act.".

After the government's decision to express no confidence, the missing members of the search committee will be elected - and it will convene.

Subsequently, the search committee's recommendation will be presented and forwarded to the government for a decision, and finally petitions to the High Court against the dismissal will be possible.

The entire procedure is expected to take months.

After his announcement, Minister Levin published an 800-page document containing ministerial complaints about Baharav-Miara's conduct.
