Tel Aviv District Commander, Superintendent Haim Sargaroff, signed a closure order last night (Wednesday) for a construction site in Bnei Brak that employed three illegal residents, in violation of the law.

On Monday of this week, patrol officers from the Bnei Brak police station located 3 illegal residents of Judea and Samaria, who were employed in an apartment undergoing renovations on Ibn Gvirol Street in Bnei Brak - without residence permits.

The Shin Bet officers were arrested and the employer was questioned with a warning at the Bnei Brak Police Investigations Department.

The investigation into the employer is ongoing.

The police stated: "As part of the targeted police enforcement against the offenses of hiring, transporting and harboring illegal residents, police officers from the Bnei Brak-Ramat Gan station in the Dan region in the Tel Aviv district are carrying out increased activity in businesses and construction sites where there is concern that illegal residents may be present, in order to strengthen the safety and security of the public.".
