What the Ministry of Education refuses to understand: Economy Minister Naftali Bennett recommends the book "Hamosoret," a reading textbook taught in kindergarten classes in the Haredi sector.

The chairman of the Jewish Home, posted pictures of the book on his Facebook page this evening - and wrote: "For the third time I am teaching one of my children to read (only at their request, otherwise I wouldn't have bothered. In my opinion, it's fun to wait until first grade, as it was with me).

""The red book in the picture is the best reading textbook I've come across. It's based on the 'room' teaching methods - a (successful) experience of hundreds of years. It just works. Much more than any of the modern methods I've come across.

""The book is called: 'The Complete Tradition,' written in the 1950s, and updated in recent years. I have no idea where to get it (search on Google). In short - I highly recommend it to anyone who is teaching their daughter to read.".
