US President Donald Trump gave an interview to the Financial Times newspaper and said: "I'm the one who decides, Netanyahu doesn't decide. Netanyahu will have no choice but to accept a deal with Iran.".
When asked what would happen if such an agreement failed "on the merits," Trump replied that he would "consider a commando raid on Iran.".
""That means one of two things - first, we might go in and deal with what's left that hasn't been dealt with militarily. Or it just means we'll continue the blockade on Iran, because the blockade has probably been stronger and more effective than any attack ever launched against that country.".
Trump's comments to the British newspaper were made before his conversation tonight with Prime Minister Netanyahu, which took place following the Iranian firing at Israel.
A Pakistani official told the Saudi Al-Arabiya channel tonight that a temporary and quick agreement between Iran and the United States is approaching. "It's either this or the collapse of the negotiations.".
