After 484 days in hell in Gaza: Keith Siegel, 65, was reunited with his family today (Saturday) at Ichilov Hospital in Tel Aviv.
The hospital updated this evening that Keith Siegel's health condition is good.
Sigal was released in the northern Gaza Strip and transferred to the Red Cross on the Hamas platform at the Gaza port, pale, standing on his two legs, and carrying two bags that the terrorists gave him, cynically: "One for him and one for his wife Aviva.".
Keith joined the IDF and Shin Bet forces in the Gaza Strip, with whom he crossed into Israeli territory and reached the absorption point in Ra'im - where he met his family.
His daughters met him when he landed at Ichilov Hospital, hugged him and told him: "Our beloved, you have returned to us. What a champion you are to have survived.".
He replied to them: "You are champions.".
His daughter, Shir, published a post on her Instagram account, alongside a joint photo with captivity survivor Emily Damari, who was released at the first stroke - and wrote: "In my wildest dreams I never believed that my sister would see my father return with me.".
Aviva Sigal, a survivor of captivity who was released in the first deal and Keith's partner, posted a video of herself on social media in which she is seen on her way to the absorption complex in Ra'im.
She said: "Keith is coming home. The big day has arrived, I couldn't be happier.".
Keith's family said upon his return to Israel: "In these moments, our father is stepping on the soil of Israel and we are indescribably excited. We can finally breathe after 484 long, scary days and nights filled with immense worry for our father. We want to thank the governments of Israel and the United States for implementing this blessed deal. A deal that focuses on human lives and Jewish and Israeli values.
""Our father was brutally kidnapped from the land of Israel and today he is back to us, and we as citizens must ensure that all those who were kidnapped are returned to us, the living to their families and for rehabilitation, and the murdered to a proper burial on the land of Israel!".
Keith Siegel, a resident of Kfar Aza, was kidnapped from his kibbutz home on the morning of October 7 along with his wife Aviva, whom he met when he visited Israel at the age of 20. He later immigrated to Israel.
He is the father of four children and the grandfather of five grandchildren. He is an occupational therapist by profession.
While he was in captivity, Hamas released a video in which he and Aviva were filmed in their car, threatened from all sides by terrorists and being transported to the Gaza Strip. Aviva was released after 51 days in captivity, in the third round of the previous deal, and testified that during the kidnapping, the terrorists shot Keith in the hand, forcibly knocked him to the floor, and broke his ribs.
