The chairman of the Knesset Education Committee, MK Yossi Taib, said this morning (Tuesday), in an interview with 'Kol Berama' radio, that if there is a demand to draft his son, he will obey the rabbis and not enlist. Taib said that his son has already received a draft order: "My son is in the same situation, he received an order, and he asks me, 'Dad, what should I do?' I tell him, 'You have the yeshiva heads, there is the Council of Torah scholars.' And to act according to their instructions." He added: "I am not afraid. He sits and studies seriously and loves to learn. We will do whatever they instruct him. If they instruct us that what needs to happen is that he be arrested, then he will be arrested and learn Torah from prison." Taib's words come against the backdrop of the IDF's announcement that it has begun proceedings against yeshiva graduates who did not report for draft duty.,
