Six months after the defection: Channel 13 refused to broadcast an advertisement for the news channel i24News because of the presence of Arab affairs commentator Zvi Yehezkeli.
According to a report by Rek Boker on the Ynet website, the i24News channel launched a television advertising campaign on Monday - and purchased advertising on Channel 12, Channel 14, and also approached Channel 13 to advertise.
According to the report, Channel 13 initially announced that they were not interested in the commercial starring Yehezkeli appearing during prime time, but later announced that they were not at all willing for Yehezkeli to appear - no matter what time.

Apparently, the channel is angry with Yehezkeli following interviews he gave to the media, in which he criticizes his former colleagues.
On the i24News channel, on the other hand, they insisted: Without Yehezkeli, we will not publish on your site.
The result: The advertisement on Channel 13 was shelved and not published.
Yehezkeli left Channel 13 after more than 20 years with Channel 10, and moved to the news channel i24News.
Channel 13, Zvi Yehezkeli and i24News declined to comment to Ynet.
