Against the backdrop of the IDF's concern about calls for refusal: Air Force Commander Maj. Gen. Tomer Bar warned his subordinates this week, during a meeting to present the investigation into the force, against bringing politics into the bases. According to a report by Amit Segal on Channel 12, the Air Force Commander explained that "the voices of division have recently been raising their heads again" - and it seems that he has learned the lesson from the refusal events - when he said in the meeting: "I am very determined in my intention that politics will not infiltrate the Air Force this time." The Air Force Commander told his subordinates this week: "We met the October 7th with full operational capability - this is not just my assertion but an unequivocal conclusion, black and white, of the investigation team." However, the Major General admitted: "If we had met the attack a few weeks later, the capability of the force might have been compromised.".
