An indictment was filed today (Thursday) against Muhammad Saadi, a 19-year-old resident of Nazareth, who passed information to Hezbollah during the Northern Arrow War.'

Saadi was arrested during the month of November.

The police and Shin Bet investigation revealed that Saadi had contacted Hezbollah several times in recent years and even asked to join the fighting in its ranks. He also contacted the Al-Manar network, which is affiliated with Hezbollah, and asked to send various photos and videos to them, including during the war.

The investigation also revealed that, as part of the war, Saadi passed on information about missile landing locations, aircraft movements, and the locations of IDF forces.

Today, at the end of the investigation, a serious indictment was filed against Saadi by the Northern District Attorney's Office, accusing him of contact with a foreign agent.

""The investigation into the affair has once again revealed the fact that elements of the Shiite axis, led by Iran, are working to promote terrorist activity in Israel, including by recruiting residents of the State of Israel who are exploited by them for espionage activities for their needs," the police and Shin Bet said.

""The Israel Police and the General Security Service view any connection to terrorist organizations with great seriousness and warn the public of concerns about the deterioration of the connection to espionage activity that endangers the security of the State of Israel. The security bodies will continue to act in accordance with the authority granted to them by law and take the measures at their disposal to thwart such threats and severely punish all those involved.".
