Wasserlauf surprised: 'I intend to move to the north for the entire rehabilitation period''

The Knesset's Interior Committee held a discussion today (Monday) on the state's preparations for the restoration of the buildings and infrastructure of northern communities - and the promotion of development momentum. Jerusalem wants mountain air: These are the vehicles that are banned from entering the city The discussion was attended by Minister Ze'ev Elkin, Minister of the Negev, Galilee and National Resilience Yitzhak Wasserlauf, Project Manager Elazar Marom (Cheney), MKs and heads of authorities. During the discussion, Minister Wasserlauf revealed that he will move to live in the Galilee for the entire reconstruction period. "My teams are currently in Kiryat Shmona, Metula and Shlomi and I intend to move to live there for the entire reconstruction period, to see the challenges that exist on the ground in practice, and there is also a lot of work to do in terms of building the trust of the residents who need to return." Wasserlauf currently lives in Tel Aviv.
