The 'Zanlchel' company, which markets 'Yachin' canned products, has notified retail chains of a price increase.
The program "The Color of Money" on Channel B reported today (Sunday) that the company will increase the price of its products by between 5% and 7% - starting this January.
This price increase joins a number of other companies that have announced price increases for 2025.
Among the companies: Nestle Ice Cream, which raised prices by 5% to 7%; the beverage company Yafara, which raised prices by 6% to 8%; and Eden Water, which also raised prices by 6% to 8%.
From Pronary Israel, the manufacturer of Nestle ice cream, it was stated: "Due to a significant increase in the prices of inputs and some of the raw materials, with an emphasis on cocoa prices, we are forced to update the retail price list of some of our products proportionately, at an average rate of 7%, which partially compensates for the price increases.".
