Pollak said in a conversation with protesters, which was broadcast on Channel 14: "Now the army is going to make an even bigger mistake. Out of its own comfort zone, it is going to establish an ultra-Orthodox brigade. This is a terrible mistake. Gentlemen, this will be our 'Netzah Yehuda' on steroids.".
He said: "I met with the IRGC, sent them letters, explained to them exactly the danger. There are professors at the academy who tell them this. This will be a cry for generations... We are establishing the Revolutionary Guards with our own hands.".
A senior member of 'Brothers in Arms' worked with the IDF's General Staff to cancel the Hasmonaean Brigade, claiming that "an ultra-Orthodox brigade in the IDF is like establishing the Revolutionary Guards."'#Central_Edition @MaggieTabibi @IshayFridman pic.twitter.com/EA4GLpbgxo
