The transportation operation to the Birkat Cohanim ceremony at the Western Wall was completed with great success thanks to early preparation and excellent cooperation with the Jerusalem Municipality, the Municipal Supervision Department, the Jerusalem Police, the Jerusalem District Traffic Department, and the Western Wall Heritage Foundation.
The operation was led by the Ministry of Transportation, through the Jerusalem Transportation Master Plan team, with careful preparation and drawing lessons from past years.
The activity included the activation of advanced control means, a central command room, and the deployment of municipal and police supervision teams to direct traffic and prevent disturbances.

In addition, drones and tow trucks were used for buses and private vehicles, and service teams were responsible for clearing hazards along the routes. Field stewards and inspectors assisted in directing the public and ensuring the proper flow of transportation.

With the end of the operation, the Ministry of Transportation and the National Public Transportation Authority are summing up the intense transportation activity that began on Rosh Chodesh Elul, and included, among other things, the central Selichot stations and the breaking of vows.
During this period, tens of thousands of worshippers from all over the country visited the Western Wall, arriving by public transportation in a convenient, fast, and efficient manner.
