Yesterday, the commander of the Northern Command, Major General Uri Gordin, held a situation assessment with the commander of the 98th Division, Brigadier General Guy Levy, and other commanders as the forces advanced to targets in Lebanon at the division's front near the border.
Alongside this, IDF Arabic spokesman Col. Avichai Adraee issued a statement to residents of 23 villages in Lebanon.

Please note, do not move south! Any movement south may endanger your lives. We will inform you of a time when it is safe to return to your homes.".
