IDF spokesman Brigadier General Daniel Hegary issued a special statement this morning (Monday) saying that the IDF will deepen and expand the attacks in Lebanon.

""In recent hours, we have been identifying Hezbollah's plans to attack the citizens of the State of Israel. The IDF began its attacks about an hour ago. In the near future, the IDF will attack terrorist targets in the Lebanese region, to eliminate the threats.".

He also read a message that was conveyed to all residents of the villages in southern Lebanon: "We call on everyone who is near properties or inside houses where Hezbollah is hiding weapons to move away from them immediately. This is for your safety and protection. Hezbollah is endangering you and your families. Hezbollah is planning to launch these weapons towards the territory of the State of Israel. Move away from them immediately for your protection.".

Hagari revealed for the first time that Hezbollah is launching cruise missiles from inside homes and even presented documentation to support this. "This is what a village in southern Lebanon looks like. Hezbollah is storing cruise missiles, rockets, and drones inside civilian homes under the protection of the Lebanese population, thereby endangering the civilians living in the village.".

""We monitor these activities, locate the weapons and destroy them with precision strikes. This attack was carried out a few weeks ago and now we are revealing for the first time the method of Hezbollah terrorists, who hide a cruise missile in a completely civilian house, where they create a designated opening for launching the missile, and from there they launch it into Israel.".

""Here you can see how we identified the terrorists opening the designated opening, and accordingly we carried out a targeted attack, eliminated the terrorists, and from there we precisely attacked the structure and the missile.".

The footage shows Hezbollah operatives breaking walls inside a building and opening an opening in its front, intended to allow the missile to be launched from there, a missile that includes a warhead of hundreds of kilograms of explosives that was apparently smuggled from Syria to Lebanon.

The terrorists were eliminated in an Israeli strike before they launched the missile.
