For two weeks now, an entire country has been abuzz with heated debates about the legitimacy, yes or no, of emigrating from Israel to Berlin because of the high cost of living in Israel.
""No political or economic factor is influencing me," says emphatically 25-year-old Naor Narkis, the man behind the 'Milk Protest', who was first revealed in a special interview he gave toNews 10.
Narkiss was born and raised in Ramat Gan and attended Blich High School in the city, where he was accepted on a scholarship. He served in the army as an officer in the Intelligence Corps in the Research Division of the Military Intelligence Directorate, and upon his discharge about a year ago, he left the country for France and then for Berlin, where he lives today.

""When you realize that the cost of living in Tiberias is the same as the cost of living in Berlin, you don't think twice," says Narkis in an interview. "I would prefer to live in Tel Aviv, but it's too expensive for me, and here I spend 30% less on food and rent, and I still have money to go out and have fun, it's a different world. The story of the Israelis here is simple, they are in the capital of the most powerful country in Europe and are saving money here to buy an apartment in a country under missile attack in the Middle East. It's a crazy situation.".
Regarding the rumors that have spread around his work in the real estate field, Narkis once again insists that there is not a shred of truth in the words, even though several sources, according to him, have offered him some support.
