The holiday of Passover, which symbolizes the time of freedom, made me think about how this Passover I will emerge into true freedom.
So let's take a moment to understand what freedom means?
""Slavery" means doing things according to the will of another person - and against your own will. "Freedom," on the other hand, symbolizes a person's will and freedom, whatever their will may be.
We, the Jewish people, will always remain slaves to the will of the Creator, the Blessed One. But, at the same time, G-d gives us our freedom, to decide for ourselves the actions we will take.
If we look from the side, we will realize that we still have slavery today, which is sometimes intangible.
And she? Internet slavery.
In a time when confidential information is a thing of the past, and people spend half their time online, if not more, it's time to take stock. Isn't it time we learned to control ourselves and set out for true freedom?
You know what, even just on the day of Passover, for a limited and defined time, we decide to go out into freedom.
Freedom from the Internet and social media. Freedom from WhatsApp groups that update us every day; in the morning with the sensational discovery, at noon with the big reveal, and in the evening - in the evening these are the never-ending correspondences, until the small hours. Even though those people have a work day tomorrow. But they are addicted.
Freedom from Facebook. And also from the selfies that have come to us. At every opportunity, we will take pictures, document, immortalize, and upload them to our hundreds of friends, so that everyone knows. Oh, and if possible, like them too...
Freedom means that we control our own desires and are free from the coercion of one factor or another upon ourselves.
So if you too want to achieve true freedom, as soon as you read this article, turn off your computer.
That's it, I hung up.
