National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir responded: "Isman's trolling continues. Instead of investing his efforts in Israel's war effort, Isman is investing his efforts in Sinwar's war effort. I call on the Minister of Justice and the Prime Minister to bring to the next government meeting a motion to immediately remove him from his position.".
Following the attorney general's decision to also open an investigation against singer Eyal Golan, MK Ariel Kelner of the Likud sent a letter to the chairwoman of the Constitution Committee, Simcha Rotman, demanding: "Discuss the attorney general's policy that reveals a forgiving attitude toward an enemy and a strict attitude toward a loving brother.".

Former Deputy State Attorney for Special Duties, attorney Nurit Litman, today criticized the State Attorney's recommendation to open a criminal investigation against singer Eyal Golan, saying in an interview: "There's no need to divorce common sense.
