The National Public Transportation Authority, led by Deputy Minister of Transportation Uri Maklev, operates dozens of public transportation lines to dozens of destinations and points of interest during the inter-time period.

The move is part of a trend to improve public transportation service for the benefit of passengers.

As part of the program, designated lines will be operated to the separate beaches and other points of interest, which are mainly visited by the Haredi public during this period. The lines will operate at various times and will be increased according to demand in the area.

Deputy Minister of Transportation, Rabbi Uri Maklev: "We are pleased to continue this year the tradition of reinforcing the designated lines to the centers of interest during the intervening days, even during this challenging period. It must be understood that nothing is taken for granted - everything requires many months of preparation and drawing lessons from the past, especially in light of the security situation and the challenges in the north and south.

""We are working to enable thousands of passengers to gather the necessary strength for the time of Elul, in accordance with the instructions of the elders of Israel, and in a manner appropriate to that. Our teams are on the ground to ensure that everything is going well and are closely monitoring the needs of the traveling public.".
