Ahead of the summit on Thursday: Hamas officially announced today (Sunday) that the organization refuses to enter into another round of negotiations on the hostage deal.

Hamas demanded that the mediators present the "ready-to-implement" proposal it agreed to in July and oblige Israel to accept it, instead of embarking on a new round of talks.

Hamas issued an official statement: "We acted positively and flexibly in the rounds of negotiations and gave in - Israel imposed new conditions, escalated the aggression against our people and carried out additional massacres until the organization's leader Ismail Haniyeh was killed. Even after the publication of the tripartite statement, the enemy carried out a massacre at the A-Taba'in school.".

""In light of this and out of concern and responsibility towards our people, the organization demands that the mediators present the plan for implementation based on Biden's vision, which Hamas agreed to on July 2, and that they oblige Israel to accept it - instead of embarking on additional rounds of negotiations or new proposals that give Israel more time to drag out the war.".

Kan News reported that Israel and Hamas have conveyed, through the mediators, a number of demands, some of which have been described as "news." Among other things, Israel is demanding to receive in advance a list of 33 live hostages who are to be released in phase one.

According to News 12, "negotiation officials assess" that Hamas' response is part of a tactic designed to pressure Israel and say they are focusing on efforts to narrow gaps.

According to a senior security source, advanced negotiations are underway with the Egyptians on the Rafah and Philadelphia axis issues, and that these issues can be resolved by Thursday. At the same time, Qatar updated us that all of Israel's clarification document has been handed over to Hamas - except for the section dealing with Netanyahu's demand for a mechanism on the Netzarim axis.

The assessment is that the more abductees are returned alive, the more flexibility will be possible in other matters. Israel's goal is to maximize the number of abductees returned alive in the deal.

Israel estimates that it will be possible to overcome Netanyahu's demand for the exile of the serious terrorists beyond what was agreed upon in the initial outline - based on an indication that the terrorists themselves are not interested in returning to Gaza.

In addition, the source described one of Israel's demands that has not yet been resolved: receiving a list of those released in advance, since if there is no deal, there is concern that Hamas will try to exchange live hostages for corpses.

The commentator Ariel Kahane Israel Hayom responded to Hamas's statement: "How many times can I say? There is no deal. There was no deal and there will be no deal. It's all a waste of time. A sloppy loft. Air business. There is one thing. War. And its timeframe is written on the wall like a Jericho Wall presentation: Israel has five months to end the war, and it doesn't matter if Trump or Harris take the White House.".

""So there's no point wasting time on nonsense. If Sinwar wants a deal (he doesn't, like Hitler he would prefer to commit suicide), he will always have an address. Until then, his sword is his weapon.".

The commentator Fellow"We are being told by many, from the President of the United States to 'senior security officials', that these are days of historic decision, and that the government will not be forgiven if it misses the opportunity.".

""And now it turns out that not only are we not in the ninetieth minute, but the other side didn't take the field. Every time we fall for the same pike.".

Media person Yaki Adamkar"For weeks, the Israeli media, the opposition, and even senior figures in the defense establishment have been running a campaign about 'Netanyahu sabotaging the deal.' A bunch of lies and fabrications. A hallucination. The truth is finally coming out.".
