What could be the reason why God blinds us, leaving us in the air?

I have a question: How are you during this time?

On the one hand, we are in a magical vacation time, together with our children who are free and just leaving for vacation. On the other hand, surely the rumors, the voices of intimidation and deterrence of our enemies from all sides are also reaching your ears - and you, perhaps, are in fear, great apprehension and distress?

I don't know if it's comforting or not, that we're all in the same boat. Old and young, rich and poor, smart and not. We're all in the same boat.

We are all trying to understand over and over again what is going to happen. What awaits us?

But the One who sits on high seems to cover our eyes from seeing, and we are like blind men in darkness. I keep thinking to myself - what could be the reason why God, the Almighty, is concerned for all of us to be like blind men? To be like blind men in darkness? What could this lead to? What could come of it? Why could it be useful?

Although we do not know the heavenly accounts and the causes of illness, we can speculate about things if they lead us to good deeds.

So what could be the reason for blinding us? Leaving us in the air? Not giving us any information about something huge, immense and mighty that could, God forbid, happen,

what?

We, the members of the Jewish people, are in a time when we are all smart, we are all intelligent, we all know everything. Commentators are popping up under every green tree in the media, in the neighborhood, and even in our own homes, in the family.

Omniscient people know exactly what is going to happen with Iran, why it will happen, how it will work, what would have happened if we hadn't acted the way we did, and how we should act because that is the only way to bring the hostages back.

Know-it-alls speak and all the listeners and viewers follow them, believing every word that comes out of their mouths, and quoting things from their words.

In the end, after a few days, the words of those commentators and fortune-tellers turn out to be nonsense. They disappear into smoke, without anyone noticing that they have been blown away in all directions, and the next day the same commentators again interpret the next topic, and again we all forget that the words of those commentators are nonsense and ill-tempered.

God tells us: 'This is it, creatures of My hand, up until this moment you think you know what the day will bring, what the night will bring. Even when you discovered that you were wrong, you still believed that you were omniscient.

But I did not create you for your interpretations. I created you to do much more important things, to build a glorious world of light, of love, of unity, of prayer, of Torah study, and you, instead of taking care of this thing for which you were created, are only confident in yourselves, in things you were not asked to calculate, and are engaged in talk, chatter, and predicting the future.

Let me teach you, the hard way, that reality surpasses all imagination, all thought and interpretation. Here, you find yourself in uncertainty. In such uncertainty, that your prediction has no basis on which to base it.

Now you are slowly realizing that humans are just humans, not angels, not prophets, not creatures of the Holy Spirit, not all-knowing and certainly not all-powerful.

I feel that God is telling us: 'You will continue to do what you need to do - shower kindness on those around you, help your parents at any age, pray and teach Torah wherever you are, in other words: you will be silent.

And I, your father, will fight for you, I will make your holy soldiers win. I will come myself and fight your war, I am not an angel, I am not a serpent, I am he and no other. I will pass, I will strike, I will do In them Judges, I am I and no one else.

And when we understand that it is the Lord who goes before the camp - we will be so encouraged. Suddenly it will not be so urgent for us to listen to commentators and fortune tellers who tell us what is going to happen. They scare us and are not right.

Suddenly we won't feel the need to stand with a stopwatch, to wait for the reaction to come, when they will launch an attack?

Because what nation has a king - a leader, who is capable of fighting its war, bringing about its victory, and bringing peace to its borders?

Let's do our part, and trust in God that when something like an attack, or an all-out war, needs to happen, it will happen.,

And maybe, maybe because we trust him, it just won't happen?
