Yitzhak Haddad, an ultra-Orthodox resident of Ashdod, who posted slander against the Wexner Foundation on the social network Twitter for an extended period of time, admitted to the charges against him, as part of a settlement agreement between the parties - after a defamation lawsuit was filed against him.

The Jerusalem Magistrate's Court approved the settlement agreement reached, under which Haddad undertakes to pay compensation to the Wexner Foundation and issue a public apology.

The foundation decided that the compensation money would be donated to the treatment of combat injuries and assault victims.

Haddad admitted that he posted the tweets from his accounts, under pseudonyms. The accounts from which he posted the defamatory posts, including accounts under the name BOND, were deleted by him after the lawsuit was filed.

The settlement agreement signed by the parties indicates that Haddad spread false and offensive publications from several profiles with pseudonyms, which were intended to hide his identity.

In addition, the foundation claimed that Haddad wrote and distributed publications in which he accused the Wexner Foundation and its graduates of involvement in illegal acts and a negative impact on national security.

According to the settlement agreement, Haddad will post a public apology on three social media accounts under his control. The apology will remain permanently available on the accounts: @milki2126, @ooo007ooo, @Bry555555.

The apology should say:

""For a long time, I have posted numerous tweets against the Wexner Foundation, including slander and false and unfounded accusations against it, from my social media accounts under pseudonyms. I apologize for these posts. The facts in them are incorrect and have not been verified by me.".

""I published offensive things that are not true and implicated the foundation in issues unrelated to its activities. I apologize to the foundation and its graduates to whom I caused harm with these publications and I undertake not to repeat and publish false slander.".

"Yitzhak Haddad""

Haddad will pay the Wexner Foundation compensation in the amount of 60,000 shekels. If he does not meet the terms of the agreement, he will be subject to a financial sanction in the amount of 140,000 shekels.

Wexner Projector delivered"The Wexner Foundation is proud of its graduates and their significant contributions to Israeli society. The foundation will not allow harm to them and will fight by all legal means against elements who slander it and its graduates.
