Moshe (Bogi) Ya'alon said this morning (Wednesday), in an interview with Reshet B, that Israel does not have to respond to the Iranian missile and drone attack.
""Israel does not have to respond to the Iranian attack. I propose a return to sanity," Ya'alon said. "What we saw on Saturday and Sunday are memories of a sane Israel - relying on alliances, and an Israel of science and technology.".
He claims, "None of this characterizes this government, for which it is only about force until complete victory. This event is an opportunity to close the rift with the Americans.".

He added: "I suggest taking a deep breath, drinking some water, and regaining some sanity. What's on the line is the future of the State of Israel.".
Ya'alon explained why, in his words, it needs to stop: "Netanyahu sits in a government led by messianics who are leading us to doom, to the destruction of a third temple. That's why it needs to stop.".
In an interview, Ya'alon said: "There are those in the government who want a Gog and Magog war. Smotrich, Ben Gvir, and Yahya Sinwar also have a common interest - a Gog and Magog war to unite all the countries.".
