With the outbreak of the 'Iron Swords' War, the Air Force froze its annual training program - and all resources and attention were directed to the war effort.
In recent weeks, the corps has gradually returned to training, and the training plan for the current war year has now been approved.
The training program will focus on increasing the Air Force's readiness for war in the northern theater and other theaters, during prolonged combat, through planning and implementing operational models and scenarios relevant to the characteristics of the various sectors and threats.
The training will include practicing massive, long-range attacks, flying deep inside enemy territory, making decisions under war conditions, and surprise exercises for the various units.
The training program includes all of the force's systems and the Air Force's operational headquarters, which, in parallel with conducting the war, carries out readiness processes, ongoing training, and the development of combat doctrines.
The training program was coordinated so that it would not harm the continuation of operational activity in the war in the Gaza Strip, including joint activity with the ground forces.
