President of the State of Israel Isaac Herzog addressed today (Tuesday), at the inauguration ceremony of the Mobileye campus in Jerusalem, the crisis in talks to formulate a deal to release the hostages, and said that the key is in the hands of Hamas leader in Gaza, Yahya Sinwar.
""The reality is this - and the world must internalize this: everything begins and ends with Yahya Sinwar," the president said. "He is the one who decided on the massacre of the October 7th, he is the one who has been seeking to shed the blood of innocents ever since, he is the one who aspires to inflame the regional situation, to destroy Ramadan, to do everything to destroy our common life, in our country and in the entire region, to divide us within ourselves and in the entire world. He is the one who seeks to unleash terror, and the entire world and the entire region must know that the responsibility lies solely with him and that will not go to him! We will not let him.".
The president emphasized: "At this moment, we must be united and cohesive. Israel is making every effort to return the kidnapped people home. Making every effort in many and varied ways. Ultimately, there is no choice, we must continue the war, and we must bring Sinwar alive or dead so that we can see the kidnapped people home.".
""I am strengthening the families of the kidnapped from here, and I tell them: The State of Israel will do everything to bring them home.".
The president added: "Seeing Israeli industry advancing with full force - that is the real victory.".
