
Wonderful unity: Thousands of mourners came over the past week to comfort Deputy Minister Uri Maklev, who sat on the "Sheva" last week for his father, the late Rabbi Mordechai Maklev, along with his brother, the late Rabbi Yoel Maklev, head of the Beit Midrash Elyon yeshiva and rabbi of the Ayelet Hashachar community in Bnei Brak, the late Rabbi Yosef Maklev, head of the group at the Tiferet Bachurim kollel and son-in-law of the Rabbi Elyashiv, and the late Rabbi Avraham Yeshayahu Maklev, one of the most prominent avrechims at the Chazon Ish kollel.
This morning (Sunday), at the end of the Shiva, family members went to his grave.
Among the thousands of comforters were Maran Harav Lando, members of the Council of Torah Elders of Degel HaTorah - including the Harav Bergman, the Harav Pobarsky, the Harav Hirsch, the Harav Schlesinger, Shlita, the Rebbe of Belza, the Rebbe of Moznitz, the Rebbe of Sanz, the Rebbe of Boyan, the Rebbe of Moznitz Central, the Rebbe of Modzic. Hundreds of yeshiva heads from across the country, chief rabbis and city rabbis.

During the shiva, at the behest of the elders of Israel, the deputy minister went out to vote at the polling station near his home in the Ramot neighborhood of Jerusalem.
