A comprehensive examination and cross-check of OmniTelecom's system data - a cloud-based communications and telephony service company, which also specializes in international call services through exclusive agreements with communications giants around the world - revealed that international call traffic from landlines of the company's customers in the Haredi sector in October alone increased by more than 50%.

The majority of incoming calls were from the US.

Local03's system reports also indicate that there was an increase in dialing content numbers geared towards the Haredi audience, by listening to IVR (news/radio lines).

OmniTelcom's team of analysts identified that ultra-Orthodox Jews living abroad consume more news played on voice IVR, in order to stay updated on the situation in Israel - and this has increased significantly since October 7.

From the data processing, it is clear that most of the increase in call traffic is to landlines to Israel.

OmniTelecom handles millions of calls per month, and reports a sharp increase in the number of minutes in mobile and landline calls in October 2023. The increase in minutes from landline calls is approximately 60% percent compared to the same month last year, while the increase in minutes from mobile phones is approximately 20%.

Today, tens of thousands of users around the world are connected to local03's VOICE services. This is a service in which the end user abroad receives an Israeli number with the 03 prefix, or portes his Israeli mobile number and uses it.

Tzachi Ben Yitzhak, owner of OmniTelcom: "Local03 customers who subscribe to the service benefit from keeping their Israeli mobile number. From the Israeli number, you can receive and make calls and receive and send text messages, all at the cost of a local call. The clear advantage for our customers is the availability abroad under the Israeli number without delay or interruptions in the call and without any dependence on local infrastructure or the Internet.".
