Former Prime Minister Ehud Barak called in an interview with Galei Tzahal to impose a "siege on the Knesset" and shut down the country in order to make Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu realize "that his time is up" - and caused a stir.

Barak even detailed his plan for how to get Netanyahu to resign: "30,000 citizens need to be around the Knesset in tents for three weeks, day and night. When the state is shut down, Netanyahu will realize that his time is up and that there is no trust in him," he said.

Media personality Yinon Magal, host of the show "The Patriots" on Channel 14, could not ignore it - and during last night's broadcast he was furious: "What is this? Where is the prosecutor's office? This is a call to rebellion. We are in a democratic country, there are elections here.".
""People were elected, what is this madness?" asked Magal, "What is this psychotic event? What is he talking about? Not the coronavirus, not investigations, not submarines, not legal reform.".
Magal asked, "What do they want?" - and said of Barak: "And he speaks freely, the IDF waves and this and all the Arabs quote him and everything, they fought, they incited parties, what do you want? We are in a war of disorder.".
In an interview on Galei Tzahal, Barak said of Benny Gantz and Gadi Eisenkot: "I have come to the conclusion that they should remain in the war cabinet. How important it is and how motivated by adventurous, reckless decisions or decisions motivated by the blackmail of Ben Gvir and Smotrich and not by the national interest of the State of Israel.".
