The 100th day of the war: Former Shin Bet chief Yaakov Perry revealed this morning (Sunday) that Shin Bet chief Ronen Bar intends to resign from the organization's leadership - after the war.

Perry said in an interview with Galei Tzahal that Ronen Bar told his employees that he intended to resign as head of the organization.

A few days after Hamas' surprise attack on Israel on Simchat Torah, Bar sent a letter to Shin Bet employees and their families, in which he made it clear that responsibility for the omission lay with him.

""Despite a series of actions we took, unfortunately, on Saturday we were unable to generate sufficient warning to thwart the attack. As the head of the organization, the responsibility for this lies with me. There will be time for investigations. Now we are fighting," wrote Bar.
