
This evening (Thursday) on the 14th, Yaakov Bardugo presented the Direct Polls surveys, which reflect the prevailing attitudes among the public during the war.

The survey shows that 49% of the respondents stated that there was no change in their political position following the murderous massacre, while 44% of the respondents in the sample indicated that their positions now lean more to the right.
The same question was asked among "coalition bloc" voters: 58% responded that their positions now lean more to the right, 38% stated that their positions had not changed, only 2% indicated that their positions now lean more to the left, while an additional 2% had no opinion on the subject.
Among center-left voters, the "opposition bloc": 60% stated that their positions had not changed, while another 30% indicated that their positions now lean more to the right.
The Direct Polls survey also examined public attitudes regarding a peace process with the Palestinians in the context of the war: an overwhelming majority of 81% do not believe that there is a chance of such a process in the future, while 10% believe so. The remaining 9% percent responded that they do not know.
Next, the data was presented among the right-wing and center-left blocs: 92% of coalition supporters do not believe in the chances of a peace process with the Palestinians, while 70% of opposition supporters believe in it.
The survey also addressed public positions regarding the outline for releasing the hostages and continuing negotiations with the terrorist organization Hamas, as the deal with the terrorist organization was controversial: 57% supported the outline, but noted that at the end, fighting should return and no further negotiations should be conducted.
27% opposed and thought that fighting in Gaza should resume now. 14% of those surveyed supported continuing negotiations until all the hostages are returned, and the remaining 2% had no position on the issue.
