In an experiment conducted in the cultivation of moringa in the Judean Plain area, the moringa grew within four months and reached bushes of two meters or more.
The winged moringa is an evergreen tree that originates from India and is now common in Southeast Asia, Africa, and Central and South America. The tree reaches a height of eight meters. It can be grown as a shrub and pruned to a height of one to two meters, so that it is more convenient to grow and quickly collect the crop.
The tree needs little water and grows well even in hard, poor soil. Moringa is known for its many nutritional values and various uses in folk medicine. It contains 18 amino acids, 9 of which are essential for the body, meaning it can be used as a "complete protein" for those who abstain from meat and dairy. Moringa also contains omega-3 and vitamins A, B1, B2, B3, B12, C, E, K, and about 10 minerals: iron, calcium, magnesium, zinc, sodium, phosphorus, calcium, copper, potassium, and chromium.
Contains antioxidants that help the body fight harmful free radicals found in our bodies.
