Ivy Rothenberg's wonderful and moving poem accompanied the "For My Brother" project, which took place at the Netivot Moshe School during the Iron Swords War, when the school's students strengthened themselves through study, prayer, and good deeds for the benefit of the fighting soldiers, for the rescue of the captives, and for the salvation of the people of Israel.
The video clip accompanying the children's exciting performance and singing was dedicated to the memory of our friend Oded David (Dedi) Graucher, the late, the man with the powerful voice and huge heart whose singing delighted hearts and moved multitudes in Israel and around the world.
The song "Achinu" took its place on the soundtrack of Hasidic music thanks to his special performance of this song.
May his memory be blessed.
""Our brothers, the entire house of Israel, who are in trouble and captivity, who are standing between the sea and the dry land, may the place have mercy on them and bring them out of trouble into peace, and out of darkness into light, and out of slavery into redemption, which is in the wilderness and in the near future, and we say, Amen!""
