No fewer than 521 planes will pass through Ben Gurion Airport today, 263 planes are expected to land and 258 flights will take off. • It is expected that about 70,000 passengers will pass through the airport today. • And who is responsible for the all-time record?

The holiday season is always a busy season, but today a record is expected to be broken at Ben Gurion Airport: no less than 521 planes will pass through the airport today, with 263 מטוסים צפויים לנחות במהלך היום, ו-258 טיסות ימריאו ממנו. לפי הצפי כ-70 אלף נוסעים יעברו בנתב"ג. העומס הגדול נגרם בעיקר בשל רבבות המתפללים החוזרים מהציון באומן. הנוסעים המוערכים בכ-20 אלף, יצאו בערב החג לאוקראינה בכ-100 מטוסים, ורובם צפויים לחזור היום ארצה. בשל העומס הצפוי, ממליצה רשות שדות התעופה לנוסעים להגיע לנתב"ג ארבע שעות לפני ההמראה, ולהתעדכן מראש במועדי ההמראות והנחיתות המעודכנים. עד לסיום עונת חגי תשרי צפויים לעבור בנתב"ג מעל ל-1.4 מיליון נוסעים. ומה הם היעדים המובילים של הישראלים? יוון, איטליה, ארצות הברית, גרמניה, רוסיה וצרפת.
