IDF tanks attacked two temporary structures used by the Syrian army this afternoon (Thursday) - violating the 1974 Separation of Forces Agreement between Israel and Syria in the Ein Al-Tanya area.
The attack took place after IDF surveillance identified the two temporary structures in the security area yesterday.
""The structures constituted a blatant violation of the Separation of Forces Agreement between Israel and Syria (1974)," the IDF says. "The IDF considers the Syrian regime responsible for everything that happens on its territory and will not allow attempts to violate the Separation of Forces Agreement.".
Earlier today, a Syrian media outlet affiliated with the opposition reported that an Israeli drone killed two motorcyclists in the town of Beit Jen.
The two riders were eliminated in a town located about 40 km southwest of Damascus and about 11 km from the border with Israel.
According to the report, the two killed were Ali Ukasha, known as "Abu Jarrah," and Zaher al-Saadi, known as "Abu Alaa." Initially, it was reported that they were Islamic Jihad operatives, but after a few minutes, the organization denied that the two belonged to them.
