The event: ISIS's first public execution
Date: 23rd Av
ISIS, the organization that grew out of the ruins of the fading glory of the world's largest terrorist organization, Al-Qaeda. The organization, which began with a group of people who decided, several years ago, to impose Islamic law and the Quran, gained momentum at record speed, swept through Iraq, and conquered large parts of Syria.
During the fighting, the organization's fighters rob every source of cash in order to sustain themselves, and in recent months they have even carried out high-profile executions to establish the fear and terror of them.
What is the reason for their strengthening? Mainly from scaring the population and empowering them on social media, through the publication of their atrocities.
Behind the entire horrific PR system stands an American who converted to Islam - a social media expert. His expertise is so great that he managed to transform the organization, which is considered tiny compared to the West, into aCAt dusk, the monster sends shivers through the hearts of anyone who has ever watched the harsh, well-staged images.
The fear and panic they sow around the world is making Islam fear itself. Muslims from all over the world are trying to limit them and push them off the Arab streets. Unfortunately, the Western world came out against them considerably late, and despite the broad coalition that the President of the United States has mobilized, the threat to the organization is not perceived as real.
The emerging feeling among commentators in the Arab world is that in the coming year the 'Islamic State' will only grow stronger.
Everything today exists in the media, and the media has influence. Terrorism has taken this axiom one step further. People are indeed frightened and shocked by executions, but it is worth remembering at the same time that another terrorist organization like Al Qaeda, which today seems cute, small and sweet compared to the monstrous ISIS, executed 3,000 people at once in a terrorist operation in the twin attacks.
It's all about the media.
But then our souls were not terrified, because we did not see visually what Al Qaeda did. Today, when everything is instantly available on the Internet, greater fear has entered our hearts, and true terror has been created by the black warriors.
When will this stop? The day the little person realizes that if he stops passing on what he has seen, and stops the horrifying publications - the terrorists will not succeed in sowing fear in hearts, and people will dare to fight against them. Stopping the publications will dissolve them.
But the world of media and social networks did not block them or exclude them from it.
What did it lead to? Despite the horror, most people's senses were dulled, and some reassured themselves that it was all just a well-directed event, but not the real thing.
ISIS heard, and decided to increase the level of horror in their films to prove that they are real and not staged like a Hollywood movie.
The Arabs know how to fight them.
In the United States and the West, they are still examining the new enemy that has suddenly emerged from under their noses.
But in the Arab countries of the Middle East, steps have already been taken to purge them from their ranks. Egypt began a purge, and anyone suspected of being a supporter was arrested and imprisoned without trial or the opportunity to clear his name.
In Jordan, the government also announced that anyone caught identifying or being an activist would be arrested without the possibility of pardon. Hezbollah, their bitter enemy, has begun fighting them, and bloody battles are being waged with the organization in Syria to keep them away from their next destination - Lebanon.
And in Israel, as in Israel, the flags of the horrific organization are raised in East Jerusalem, in the Old City - and the government silence continues.
There is no harsh hand, no arrests, no deportation. The Arab public raises its head, threatens, riots and goes wild - and supports the murderous terrorist organization.
And I was left with only one question: What would have happened if the black flags had been engraved in white: "Price Tag"?
