The distributed footage shows an IDF soldier firing his personal weapon to disperse a demonstration of Jews who had come out to protest at the Beit Furik intersection over the murderous attack.

The IDF said: "Israeli civilians gathered this evening at the entrance to the village of Beit Furik in Samaria in an attempt to enter the village. An IDF force that arrived at the scene dispersed the gathering, using riot control measures and firing into the air. The incident will be investigated.".

Dozens of protesters arrived at the Tapuah intersection and threw stones at Palestinians - who fled the scene. The protesters shouted "Jews, wake up, Jewish blood is not in vain" and "revenge.".

In light of the tensions following the attack, the Shi'ite District Police updated that after assessing the situation, it was decided to increase the deployment of forces on Judea and Samaria roads, with an emphasis on sensitive areas, intersections, and crowd gathering points.

""The police and IDF forces will work to maintain public security and prevent public order incidents while allowing protests at intersections and designated points. The police call on the public to obey the instructions of the police officers deployed in the area," the police said.
