- Heat a frying pan with 2 tablespoons of oil.
- Add onion, green pepper and garlic and fry for 5 minutes.
- Transfer the mixture to a large bowl.
- Grind the cashew nuts in a food processor.
- Add the chopped cashew nuts to the mixture.
- Place the beans in the food processor and pulse until the beans are chopped.
- Transfer to the mixing bowl and mix gently until fully combined.
- Add egg and breadcrumbs, season and mix.
- Form 6-8 meatballs from the bean mixture.
- Heat a teaspoon of oil in a frying pan over medium heat, fry the patties until browned on both sides.
- Transfer to a bun, add cheese and toppings to taste.
