Labor MK Naama Lazimi addressed the party's situation today (Tuesday), which has been below the threshold in all polls in recent months.
""The public has a great difficulty with Merav Michaeli," she said in an interview with Ben Caspit and Yinon Magal on their program on 103FM. "There is justified anger about the mistakes made in the party and the bloc in the last elections.".
According to her, the solution to keeping the party in the political game lies in connections within the bloc. "I agree with all the calls for unity within the bloc. I do think that the Labor Party is not only the party that founded the state, it must remain in the Knesset. Our job is to get the party back on its feet and I believe we will do that.".
Lazimi also addressed the property tax fund that was approved tonight by the Finance Committee. "I was very loud and clear that this is not how to make a correction, it is structured in the crookedest way possible. There are so many other ways to make a correction that should be made," she said, "Certainly not taking powers away from local authorities that need to be given more powers.
""There is an idea that in principle we can agree on, its implementation is poor. The very blatant exclusion of the settlements in contrast to the exclusion of the Arab authorities is discrimination for all intents and purposes.".
