The Chief of Staff has decided: Brigadier General David Zini, father of 11 children, will be promoted to the rank of major general

Brigadier General Yaron Finkelman will be appointed as commander of the Southern Command. The officer will be promoted to the rank of major general. Brigadier General Nimrod Aloni will be appointed as commander of the Deep Command and commander of the military colleges. The officer will be promoted to the rank of major general. Brigadier General David Zini will be appointed as commander of the Ground Forces Training and Exercise Command and commander of the General Staff Corps. The officer will be promoted to the rank of major general. Brigadier General Eyal Harel will be appointed as head of the Planning Division. The officer will be promoted to the rank of major general. The appointments will take effect in the coming months. The new major general David Zini was born in Jerusalem to Rabbi Yosef and Pnina Zini, later rabbi of the D' neighborhood in Ashdod. His uncle is Rabbi Eliyahu Rahamim Zini. He studied at the Talmud Torah Morasha, the Yeshiva Tichonit Chispin, the Shavei Hebron Yeshiva and the Keshet Yehuda Mechin. Zini lives in Moshav Keshet in the central Golan Heights, is married to Naomi and has 11 children.
