Last night (Sunday), in the evening, police officers at the Bnei Brak police station located the suspect in the false alarms: a 14-year-old boy who lives in the city.
He was detained for questioning at the Bnei Brak station, after which he was released under restrictive conditions.
The investigation into the case is ongoing.
The police said that this is a particularly serious phenomenon: "The Israel Police views telephone harassment at emergency hotlines as serious, which causes congestion on the lines, extends service times, employs forces in the field, and impairs the ability to provide a rapid response to real incidents.".
