Tragedy: Groom murdered in robbery in North Miami Beach - 10 days before wedding

Unimaginable tragedy: The late Hershey Schwartz, an ultra-Orthodox groom who was supposed to get married inLakewood, New Jersey next Wednesday, Found today (Sunday) in his car After being shot and killed overnight in a parking lot located at the corner of First Avenue and 167th Street, in North Miami Beach, Florida. According to police, Hershey, 39, was found shot in what appeared to be a robbery, and investigators believe theA robbery went wrong - and he was shot to death.Hershey was a resident of North Miami Beach and an active member of the Florida organization Chesed Shel Emet. Chesed Shel Emet members say he was loved by all and was known as a dedicated volunteer. "We have lost one of our best. We will work with the police department to bring the perpetrators of this crime to justice," said Mark Rosenberg, head of Chesed Shel Emet in Florida, where Hershey was A householder in his home for many years.  Dovi Katz, Ari Manson and Avi Friedman said: "Hershy was a unique and wonderful person, always ready to lend a helping hand to everyone. We send our condolences to his fiancée and family.". The late Hershey is the son of Rabbi Nocham Schwartz of Monsey, a well-known Hasidic family.  His funeral is expected to be held in Monsey.
