At the upcoming government meeting, the wording of the powers that Knesset member and designated minister David Amsalem will receive will be up for approval.
On Tuesday, it was announced that Netanyahu and Amsalem agreed that the Likud MK would serve as Minister of Justice, Minister of Regional Cooperation, and Minister Liaison between the government and the Knesset - a position previously held by Minister Yoav Kish.
According to a report on the Ynet website, the entire issue of legal reform will remain in the hands of Minister Yariv Levin, while Amsalem will take over the Notary Licensing Department, the Private Investigators and Security Services Department, and the Realtors Licensing Department.
In addition, Amsalem will also assume responsibility for the Land Appraisers' Council, the government unit for coordinating and combating racism, the Christian denominations' religious declarations unit, and the Registry of Issues.
The Real Estate Valuation Division will also be transferred to it, as will the International Treaty Translation Department.
This will effectively resolve the political crisis that arose after Amsalem refused to accept an executive position in the government unless he was appointed Minister of Justice or Speaker of the Knesset.
