The artist of emotion, Rabbi Aharon Sitbon, never ceases to surprise: Having already crossed the middle of his seventh decade, and after a rich harvest that does not embarrass a young singer, he presents a new single: "Light in My Eyes.".

Beyond the messages of faith and gratitude to God that run like a thread through all of his works, this time the lyrics of the song contain more than that: an open allusion to the stages of his life.

Indeed, Rabbi Aharon had seen it all. He was a successful musician in the 1970s in France, with an impressive career that included performances, albums, and a large fan base.

But then he became closer to Judaism and for 30 years dedicated his time to studying the Holy Torah.

At the age of 70, and with the blessing of the Lubavitcher Rebbe who blessed him to make people happy, he returns to the musical roots of his soul and in a relatively short period of time releases his first album, "Shechayinu," which includes, among other things, the hit "Yerushalim" that amazed everyone: not everyone is able to make such a "leap," especially at such an age.

From his first album to this day, he continues to produce an impressive crop: before the holidays he released another single, "Days Are Coming," before Passover, "My Heart Is Full of You," and now, "Light in My Eyes," and at this rate, his third album is already on the way.

The musical roots have long existed in the family: his son, Rabbi David Sitbon, is considered a sought-after and well-known Hasidic singer, and they perform quite a few duets together. Particularly moving performances when Rabbi Aharon sings with his grandchildren, songs of kissufim and longing for the coming of the Messiah and thanksgiving to God.

The new single "Light in My Eyes" - presented as a lyric video against the backdrop of the amazing landscapes of the Dead Sea at sunrise, provides an exciting glimpse into his heart that says: "I've already seen everything. I didn't want to give up. I lit the candle that will shine forever.".

Even at his age, +70, he sings like a young man, full of grace and emotion. He doesn't give up, he lights the candle - that will shine forever.

And here's a surprise: the melody was composed and sung by Sitbon himself in 1977, and now he has reworked the song, and with the help of the talented duo Klein & Berry, the song has received a powerful and exciting 'twist', as Rabbi Aharon knows how to do.

""We have a huge sense of mission to work together with Aaron Sitbon on his songs, who dedicates his entire life to infusing empowering and unique messages into his music," say the Klein-Berry duo.

Lyrics "Light in My Eyes":

So I saw with my own eyes, I have seen everything, there is hope and grace,

I didn't want to give up, I lit the candle that will shine forever.

Yes, even in difficult days you see me, you keep me safe,

I will offer a prayer and a request,

A prayer out of joy, a prayer that resonates.

A hymn of light in my eyes:

I received a gift,

My whole life, everything from you and by you,

All I have left to do now is sing to you.

Now the heart says thank you,

In song and prayer from morning to evening,

No, this is not a dream, in the end the day will come and then we will be happy forever,

Light in my eyes.
