Rafael Ben Eliyahu, who was murdered in a terrorist attack in the Neve Yaakov neighborhood on Saturday night, had a grandson born yesterday.

Dalia, Rafael's aunt, said this morning (Sunday), in an interview she gave to Kalman Libeskind and Assaf Lieberman on the "Kalman Lieberman" program on Channel 2, that his brother was killed 40 years ago in a car accident, when he was 13.5 years old - and his memorial service was on Saturday.

And this is not the only tragic coincidence - last night, just a day after the murderous attack, a grandson was born to Rafael.

And not only that: just last week, the family marked the 'thirtieth' anniversary of the passing of Rafael's wife's father. "It's a nightmare scenario. She just came out of a month of mourning for her father and is entering mourning for her husband," said Dalia.
Rafael's aunt added that he was the only son of his mother, Yehudit, 88, who is confined to a wheelchair.
""He left behind a wonderful family, four sons," she said, describing: "He was quiet and helpful, and he loved the country very much.".
Dalia relived the last moments of her nephew and son, who went out the day before yesterday to meet Eli and Natalie Mizrahi, the couple who were murdered in the attack, after they heard them screaming to call an ambulance.
""He suddenly came across this incident when he heard shouts to call an ambulance or the police. He and his other son got out of the car and at that exact second the terrorist appeared in front of them and put a bullet in Rafi's head. The son managed to escape and the terrorist turned around and came back, and his mother and brother, the little son, were sitting in the car, and he received the bullet through the car. The son lay wounded on his mother and saved her life. He was in a serious condition and we are praying very much that he will recover.".
The funeral of Raphael Ben Eliyahu the Elder will be held at 12:00 on Mount Hamunehot. The funeral of Shaul Chai the Elder will be held at 1:00 PM.
