Interim Prime Minister Yair Lapid and Defense Minister Benny Gantz are in a complete estrangement and have not spoken since the crushing election loss, according to a report on the B network this morning (Tuesday).
According to the report, the chairman of Yesh Atid and the chairman of the state camp are blaming each other for the loss of the center-left bloc in the elections held a week ago.
Lapid has also not spoken, since the election results were announced, with the heads of the other parties in the bloc.
Those around Lapid said in response: "In everything related to state security, Gantz and Lapid are working excellently.".
A senior member of the Yesh Atid party said after the loss: "Instead of cooperating with Lapid, Gantz was obsessed with himself. While Prime Minister Lapid ran a positive and respectful campaign against all partners in the bloc and for the sake of the country, Gantz was blabbering about an imaginary government. The number of his mandates reflects what the public thinks of him.".
