One of the powerful and influential songs of Rabbi Kook zt"l is given a new look and a surprising and inspiring interpretation by Yoni Ganot and Gal Harosh, under the musical direction of Yankela Segal.

""Rabbi Kook, zt"l, who was the first Chief Rabbi of Israel, is one of the most colorful and influential figures in the renewal of Judaism in the Land of Israel," says Ganut. "Rabbi Kook zt"l was a wonderful combination of a rabbinical leader with halachic and intellectual genius, but also a poet with a free spirit and soul who crossed borders.

""In this song, the rabbi expressed the cry of the soul that seeks to break through the heavens and be freed from all chains...""

This cry is given powerful and spectacular expression with the authentic melody of Ioni, Yankela's oriental arrangement, and Yagel's ethnic singing and instruments.

Spaces Spaces

From my heart to the depths of my soul

Don't lock me in any cage, neither physical nor spiritual.

My soul is floating across the sky.

It will not be contained by walls of heart nor by walls of action, morality, logic, and decency.

Above all these she sailed and flew

Above all that is called by every name

Above all pleasure, all comfort and beauty,

From the highest to the sublime and noble
