37 days before the elections for the 25th Knesset: A new survey that was presented tonight (Saturday night) on the program "Meet the Press" on Channel 12 examined who the Israeli public believes will head the government on Rosh Hashanah next year.

The survey, conducted by the Midgam Institute headed by Mano Geva, shows that 461% of the public believe that former Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who served as opposition leader for the past year, will return to the position of Prime Minister.

According to the survey, current Prime Minister Yair Lapid is in second place with only 141% of respondents saying they think he will be able to form the next government.

In third place is Defense Minister Benny Gantz with only 7% who believe he will succeed in forming a government.

An additional 7% claimed that another candidate would form a government. The remaining 2% responded that they did not know at all who would head the new government.

Among voters of the outgoing government, 27% believe that Netanyahu will form the next government, 25% Lapid and 11% Gantz.

In addition, we asked, "What kind of government do you think Benny Gantz could form?" and the results showed that 43% of those surveyed think that Gantz will not be able to form a government. In contrast, 22% think that Gantz will be able to form a center-left government with Hadash-Ta'al and Ra'am, and 14% think that Gantz will be able to form a unity government with the right and the ultra-Orthodox - and without Netanyahu.

Additionally, contrary to Gantz's promises, 21% thinks he will form a unity government with Netanyahu and the Likud.
